About

We started as builders. We became consultants.

Studio20 is a digital consultancy in Singapore, built on more than a decade of experience designing and developing digital products and platforms.

We didn't begin with a consulting methodology. We began by doing the work.

Our evolution

The work
changed us.

We started in 2015 as a technology team, building websites, applications and digital platforms.

As our clients grew, the work expanded into content, campaigns, social media and performance marketing. Working across the digital journey showed us that channel problems rarely stand alone.

A website project could uncover a content problem.

A platform project could expose an operational problem.

A marketing brief could reveal a customer journey problem.

Clients stopped asking only, “Can you build this?”

They began asking, “What do you think we should do?”

That changed the role we played.

Today, Studio20 Singapore is a digital consultancy that still knows how to build.

What we believe

A few things we’ve
learned along the way.

01

Understand before recommending.

The brief is a starting point, not necessarily the answer.

02

Recommend what we’d implement ourselves.

Advice should survive contact with reality.

03

Stay close to the work.

Strategy gets better when the people shaping it understand implementation.

04

Build for what happens after launch.

The real test is whether the client’s team can operate, improve and grow what we create.

Studio20 today

Singapore-based.
Regionally experienced.

Studio20 Singapore works with an integrated team across Singapore and Malaysia.

We bring together strategy, design, engineering and growth expertise to help organisations solve digital challenges spanning corporate platforms, applications, digital growth, and enterprise intelligence and automation.

Our clients work with one accountable team—from the first recommendation through implementation and what comes after launch.

The right fit

When we’re not
the right fit.

  • You need the existing brief executed without questioning its assumptions
  • The deadline leaves no room to understand the problem properly
  • You need isolated execution without a wider strategy or measurable objective
  • Price is the only measure of value

Said here so nobody wastes a meeting finding out.

Frequently asked questions.

What are Discover, Recommend and Implement?

Our three steps. Discover understands the business, Recommend turns that into a practical plan with the reasoning behind it, and Implement builds it with the same people staying accountable for the result.

What does Discover actually look at?

Four things: the digital estate, stakeholders and operations, commercial context, and who owns and can run what afterwards.

Will you challenge our brief?

Yes, and often. A website project can turn out to be a content problem, a platform project an operational one. We would rather find that early than build the wrong thing well.

How that played out

When are you not the right fit?

When the brief needs executing without its assumptions questioned, when the deadline leaves no room to understand the problem, when the work is isolated from any wider objective, or when price is the only measure of value.
